What?, God Did Not Answer? What Did You Tell Him!!!

A man once asked God "Why is it that you never help me with my problems when I tell you in prayer?" God simply and lovingly said back to him, "Son, because you never tell me exactly what you DESIRE, you only tell me your PROBLEMS."

The MAIN REASON why people don't get help from above when they pray is because they simply don't follow God's rules.

Remember, God's laws are of mathematical precision. They are EXACT.
Your belief or disbelief in them does not stop their operations in your life.

The scripture says that When we pray, we should make our REQUESTS known unto God, NOT our PROBLEMS. There's a distinct difference between the two. Depending on how you pray, God plays either of two roles. A great and patient listener OR a great help provider. His name is El-Shaddai, the God Almighty of Blessings, not the God Almighty of Problems.

When you state your problems in prayer, you are only reinforcing the power of the problems in your life. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks and when the mouth speaks, it is a declaration which even the God Almighty cannot and will not stop because he already told us that "Death and Life are in the power of our tongues". This is the reason why he seems to be quiet and not to answer when people voice PROBLEMS to him in prayer. He is refusing to agree with such and therefore the silence and besides, you only seem to need a listener anyway, rather than a helper; and God will be whatever you want him to be.

So when you pray, tell God precisely what it is you desire of him to do for you. Not that God doesn't know what you need, but since you are co-creator with God, You are the one creating your own world and God will not interfere with your decisions. He only asks of you to create what will bring glory to him. See yourself receiving from God that which you have asked of him. See yourself possessing it and living it. The spiritual controls the physical. You have to see and possess it first in the spirit before you can actually possess it in the physical. Jesus said "When you pray, BELIEVE that you have received what you asked for and you shall have it" Look at the two underlined statements. The first said "You have received"...PAST TENSE. (This is in the spirit and it comes first.) The second said "You shall have it" ... FUTURE TENSE. (This is in the physical, and it comes second.) Now, if you are paying attention and thinking about this, your are probably asking, what happens to the PRESENT? The present is when you state exactly what you desire to receive in the physical.

Once you know that God's laws and instructions are of mathematical precision, you will not state your problems in prayer but exactly what you desire. Remember, once again, his instruction to us regarding our prayer is "When you pray, make your requests made known unto him", NOT our problems. So friends, when you pray:

 1. Be still and know Jehovah is God and he is good.

 2. He desires to give you the kingdom.

 3. Do not be anxious about anything at all so that your statement will not be
     clouded by your emotions.

 4. Be bold as a lion in approaching the father to make your request(s).

 5. Be confident that he will answer you, remember, he delights in giving you
     the kingdom.

 6. Then believe with all of your heart that you have RECEIVED the request.

 7. Finally, be grateful and full of thanksgiving for answered request because
     it's already done.

Make all these a part of your prayer life and you will begin to see changes in your life. Remember, Gratitude is the sports car that speedily brings your requests to you in the physical.

If you have done this and you are still having your prayers unanswered, then ask God to show you areas in your life that HE wants you to deal with first. Sins, Unforgiveness, Idolatery, Stubborness, Pride, and all the fruits that are NOT of God which you may be entertaining with or without your knowledge. Deal with those sincerely and then re-state your request(s) and watch the Father gives you the kingdom.

There are many reasons why prayers are not answered, this article just deals with one of them.

  1. Thanks Joshua for posting this! I had to change the way that I pray. My prayers now are just basically thanking GOD for the things that I ask for in advance. I know that God knows my needs, and He delights in my prosperity so I know that all my needs are met and the desires of my heart are fulfilled in His perfect timing! I now speak life into every situation and circumstance for me and my family/friends because I know by doing so it is changing our lives for the better. Not focusing on our problems but the solutions is key and you can do that best when you are grateful, not only for what you already have but also being grateful IN ADVANCE for those things you need and desire. God Bless!
